Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has returned safely to the homeland on Wednesday following an official tour of the Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Uganda. During his visit to Kenya, the president took part in the Africa–France Summit, and held a series of meetings with several African leaders and international officials aimed at strengthening co-operation and addressing shared regional and global priorities. The president also visited Uganda, where he conducted bilateral talks with the Ugandan president, focusing on enhancing relations between the two countries and advancing mutual interests, the Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed el-Shennawy said in a statement. He added that the tour reflected Egypt’s continued commitment to deepening engagement with African partners and contributing to joint efforts across the continent.
