Hamas on Monday welcomed the announced memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran to halt military operations on various fronts, expressing hope that the agreement would help promote stability and reduce tensions across the region. In a press statement, the Palestinian group said it hoped the agreement would have a positive impact on pressing regional issues, particularly by securing an immediate end to the ongoing Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip and stopping attacks and violations affecting Lebanon and other fronts.
