The Ministry of Education is preparing for the launch of the 2026-2027 academic year, with Sunday, September 6, 2026, designated as the official start date for school attendance in public, private and equivalent schools across various Syrian provinces.
The preparations coincide with efforts to improve the readiness of damaged schools through full or partial renovation and maintenance work, ensuring a suitable educational environment for students at the start of the academic year.
The ministry has also begun printing and distributing textbooks across the provinces as part of a plan to ensure that essential educational materials are available on time.
