ALBAWABA - Arab fans of the prominent Syrian actress Samia Al-Jazaeri were thrilled by the news that she has recently joined the cast of the third season of the popular comedy-drama series "Abu Janti."
This comes as final preparations for the show are underway, ahead of the start of filming in Syria, before broadcasting it during the coming Ramadan season.
Al-Jazaeri is the third major addition to the cast of the third season, joining series leads Samer Al-Masri and Aiman Reda.
She will continue her role as "Badia", also known as "Umm Al-Nour", the mother of Abu Janti, the character played by Samer Al-Masri.
It is noteworthy that the third season of the series "Abu Janti: The Return", scheduled for broadcast during the upcoming Ramadan 2027 drama season, marks a comeback after a hiatus of approximately 15 years.
The popular comedy series had been on hold since the release of its second season in 2012, until the production company "Ward Production" announced the development of a third installment for Ramadan 2027.
