The reported casting of Tyson comes after 'Tuzlu Kahve' attracted attention over speculation about another possible guest appearance. Football manager Fatih Terim previously fueled discussion when he commented on a social media post connected to Binnur Kaya’s character, Hatun, saying he hoped to have a cup of salted coffee with the team one day.
That remark led to speculation that Terim might also appear in the series, although the comment itself did not confirm a guest role.
Tyson’s reported involvement would give the Turkish drama a guest star recognized far beyond the world of television. The former heavyweight champion is known internationally for his boxing career and has also appeared in film and television projects.
For now, viewers will have to wait for further details about the appearance. Turkish media have reported that Tyson is expected to play Mehmet’s American friend, but the episode number, filming dates and official confirmation from the broadcaster or production team have not yet been announced.
