This strategic expansion effectively doubles the airline’s capacity and marks a significant transitional phase for the company. The fleet modernisation reflects a forward-looking vision focused on upgrading services and driving continuous growth in the aviation sector. According to Pilot Ahmed Shannan, CEO of Red Sea Airlines, this expansion is designed to support the airline’s growth in global markets and meet the rising demand for travel. By increasing its total seating capacity, the airline aims to directly boost inbound tourism to Egypt and better serve international travellers. Passenger safety and operational excellence remain the top priorities for the airline during this growth phase. Shannan emphasised that Red Sea Airlines strictly adheres to the highest international safety and quality standards. The entire fleet operates in full compliance with the rigorous regulations set by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), ensuring a safe, reliable, and seamless travel experience across European and international airspace.
