By Mohamed Attia EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering (EGME) has announced two major partnerships during El Alamein International Airshow. The company signed an expanded agreement with aircraft manufacturer Boeing to implement the Airplane Health Management (AHM) system across its growing fleet of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Mohamed Sami stated that the technical team is committed to delivering maintenance, repair, and overhaul services at world-class standards for both EgyptAir and international clients. He noted that equipping the new 737 MAX fleet with Boeing’s advanced health management system will enhance diagnostic capabilities, reduce aircraft downtime, optimise spare parts usage, and ensure maximum operational efficiency and smooth flight operations. Additionally, EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering announced a strategic partnership with FTAI Aviation, a specialist in engine maintenance, further strengthening its technical service capabilities on the sidelines of the airshow.
