Burundi PM visits Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum received Burundi’s Prime Minister Nestor Ntahontuye and his spouse, along with the accompanying delegation, during their current visit to Egypt. The delegation was welcomed by Ahmed Ghoneim, who gave a briefing on the museum, its archaeological treasures, and the services offered to visitors. The tour included the outdoor plaza, the main atrium, the Grand Staircase, and the main exhibition galleries, which comprise 12 halls showcasing the history of ancient Egyptian civilization. The visit also covered the galleries of Tutankhamun, where the full collection of the young king’s artifacts is displayed together for the first time using an interactive exhibition approach. The Burundian premier and his delegation expressed admiration for the artifacts and collections on display, praising the museum’s presentation style and exhibition narrative.
