Yemen lauds Saudi Arabia's decision to regularize status of Yemeni residents

ADEN — The Yemeni government praised Saudi Arabia's decision to regularize the status of its nationals residing illegally in the Kingdom. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued directives in this regardin response to a request by Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi. In a statement, the Yemeni Council of Ministers expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for the initiative, describing it as a reflection of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian approach and the depth of brotherhood and historical ties between the two countries. The Yemeni Council of Ministers stated that the initiative extends Saudi Arabia's continuous support for Yemen, demonstrating a strategic partnership that goes beyond political and economic support to directly uphold the dignity of its people, Yemen News Agency SABA reported. The Yemeni government renewed its appreciation to the Kingdom's leadership, government, and people, affirming that Saudi Arabia's positions represent a fundamental pillar in protecting Yemen and restoring its security and stability.
