Umm Al Quwain: Umm Al Quwain Municipality announced that it is accepting applications for temporary winter camping permits for the 2026-2027 season in the Al Aqran and Al Thaniyah areas from October 19 to 30.The Municipality stated that obtaining a winter camping permit requires a valid copy of a passport issued by the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, and a family book.It added that the purpose of the camp is for the applicant's personal and temporary use only, and the owner is prohibited from renting the space or using it for any commercial activities or any purposes other than those stated in the permit. The permitted camping period ranges from three to six months. The Municipality also noted that a fee of Dh2,000 must be paid, and a refundable security deposit of Dh10,000 must be submitted within three days of the application approval date; otherwise, the permit will be cancelled.It pointed out the need to abide by the law, customs, traditions and norms in the emirate and the country, to abide by the limits of the area specified in the camp permit, to be careful about cleanliness and to comply with the requirements of the Civil Defence, not to drive recklessly and carelessly in the camping areas, and not to use spotlights, loudspeakers and drones.
