UAE weather: Rain clouds forecast, humidity and fog likely in some areas

Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast fair to partly cloudy weather across the UAE on Sunday, with a chance of convective cloud formation over eastern parts of the country during the afternoon, accompanied by rainfall.According to the NCM, humid conditions are expected at night and on Monday morning over some coastal areas, with the possibility of fog or mist formation in some locations.Winds will be light to moderate, becoming fresh to strong at times in cloud-covered areas and causing blowing dust. Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h in some inland areas.Temperatures are expected to range between:38°C to 43°C in coastal and island areas44°C to 49°C in inland areas33°C to 37°C in mountainous regionsSea conditions will be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.The forecast comes as the UAE remains under the influence of an extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east, accompanied by an upper-air low-pressure system, creating favourable conditions for cloud development and scattered rainfall in parts of the country.
