Abu Dhabi: Temperatures across the UAE are set to reach as high as 49°C in internal areas today, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).In its daily weather bulletin, the NCM said conditions will be fair to partly cloudy, with humid weather expected at night and on Monday morning over some western areas. There is also a possibility of fog or mist formation.Temperatures are forecast to range between 44°C and 49°C in internal areas, 40°C and 45°C in coastal and island areas, and 30°C and 37°C in mountainous areas.Relative humidity is expected to reach 90 per cent in coastal and island areas and 85 per cent in internal areas.Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeasterly to northeasterly directions at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h at times.According to the NCM forecast for the coming days, fair to partly cloudy weather will continue, with cloud formation expected eastward during the afternoons. Convective clouds may develop over eastern and southern areas and could be associated with rainfall.Humid conditions are also expected during the nights and early mornings, with a probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Winds may freshen at times, causing blowing dust, while sea conditions are forecast to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, becoming rough at times in some areas.
