Dubai: The Ministry of Education announced, during the media briefing it organised this morning to reveal preparations for the new academic year 2026-2027, the evaluation processes for government and private schools licensed by the Ministry.With the start of the first semester of the academic year 2026-2027, the Ministry shared a project that aims to build an integrated reading of the levels of performance and quality of educational and institutional practices in schools, with the evaluation processes to extend over two academic years.The project includes all public and private schools subject to the scope of evaluation, in a step that reflects a trend towards unifying the quality measurement system, providing accurate indicators that contribute to understanding the reality of school performance, and enhancing the ability of educational institutions to develop their practices according to clear and systematic standards.The evaluation is based on measuring the quality of institutional and educational performance according to approved national standards, which allows for the formation of a comprehensive picture of the school’s level and the effectiveness of its educational and administrative processes, and linking the evaluation results to paths of continuous development and improvement.The project also aims to identify areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement in schools, enabling school administrations to build on strengths, address areas that need development, and transform the evaluation results into a practical tool to improve the quality of education and enhance the efficiency of school performance.
