ABU DHABI: The UAE Ministry of Interior has launched the 'Emirati Emergency Number Day' campaign and designated 9 September as an annual awareness day for the initiative.The campaign aims to promote the responsible use of the 999 emergency number, which is designated for emergency situations, and to raise public awareness about selecting the appropriate contact number based on the nature of the incident.According to the Ministry, the initiative seeks to support faster emergency response times and contribute to protecting lives and property.The campaign carries the message 'Every Second Makes a Difference', highlighting the importance of using emergency services appropriately so that assistance can reach those in need as quickly as possible.
