Abu Dhabi: The UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has issued a circular on the back-to-school policy for federal government employees, granting flexibility in attendance and departure times during the start of the new academic year.Under the policy, employees will be allowed flexible working hours on the first school day to enable them to accompany their children to and from school or home, provided the flexibility does not exceed three hours.FAHR also said employees will be granted flexible working hours during the first week of the academic year to care for their children enrolled in kindergarten, for a period not exceeding three hours during the week.The measure is aimed at supporting employees in managing their family responsibilities during the start of the new school year.
