Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has expressed its solidarity with the State of Qatar following the death of a Qatari citizen and the injury of an Arab national in a maritime incident linked to regional military operations. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, as well as to the government and people of Qatar. The ministry also wished a swift recovery to the injured individual, reaffirming the UAE’s support for Qatar in the aftermath of the incident.
