Counsellor Dr Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, Attorney General of the UAE, announced that investigations into the incident involving flydubai flight FZ1073 revealed that the aircraft's co-pilot had begun carrying out a terrorist operation.He explained that the co-pilot began implementing his plan during the flight, attacking the pilot inside the cockpit with a crash axe and attempting to take control of the aircraft.The Attorney General confirmed that investigations are still ongoing to uncover all the circumstances surrounding the incident, its motives and related connections, in addition to completing technical examinations and examining physical and digital evidence. The final results will be announced as soon as the necessary procedures are completed.
