Abu Dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Defence announced that air defence systems engaged Iranian ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), during recent attacks.According to the ministry, air defences intercepted two ballistic missiles and three UAVs as part of the response operations.The ministry also reported cumulative figures since the onset of the attacks, including 551 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,263 UAVs intercepted.The statement highlighted the continued readiness and capability of the UAE’s air defence systems to respond to threats.
