Hangzhou, China: Typhoon Dolphin, the 13th typhoon of the year, made a second landfall in east China's Zhejiang Province on Sunday evening, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC).The typhoon came ashore in Yueqing City at around 6:40 p.m., with maximum sustained winds near its centre reaching Force 13, equivalent to 38 metres per second.Earlier in the day, Dolphin made its first landfall in Yuhuan, in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, at approximately 5:30 p.m., when sustained winds near the centre reached Force 14.The storm has disrupted transportation across the province, with Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport cancelling 388 inbound and outbound flights on Sunday as severe weather conditions affected operations.The National Meteorological Center has urged local authorities in affected regions to take precautions against extreme rainfall, warning of potential flooding and related weather hazards.Emergency services and local authorities remain on alert as the typhoon continues to move through eastern China.
