Türkiye's Trabzonspor have parted ways with coach Fatih Tekke, the team said on Tuesday. The 48-year-old Tekke joined Trabzonspor in March 2025 and has overseen 62 games with them. Trabzonspor won the Turkish Cup last year with Tekke at the helm. They were relegated from the Europa League to the Europa Conference League after losing 4-0 to Hungarian side Ferencvaros last week. Tekke announced his resignation following Thursday's loss, which the club had previously refused to accept. Trabzonspor lost 2-1 to Amedspor on Monday. They signed former Liverpool players Mohamed Salah and Fabinho last month.
