Turki Alalshikh Announces Six Kings Slam as Part of Riyadh Season this October

Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Turki Alalshikh announced that Six Kings Slam tournament will be held as part of Riyadh Season 2026, taking place on October 21, 22, and 24, with six of the world's top tennis players set to compete. The tournament will feature Jannik Sinner, the two-time defending champion, alongside Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, while Alex de Minaur will make his Six Kings Slam debut in the tournament's third edition. The tournament will be streamed globally on Netflix, allowing audiences around the world to follow four days of world-class tennis and further strengthening its position as one of the sport’s premier events. "I'm excited to return to Riyadh for another Six Kings Slam. The atmosphere is always incredible, and it's a privilege to be part of such a unique event alongside some of the best players in the world,” said Carlos Alcaraz. Jannik Sinner also said he was happy to be back in Riyadh to defend his Six Kings Slam title once again. “It's a great event with an amazing atmosphere, and I can't wait to compete this October." Novak Djokovic said that Six Kings Slam has become a special event on the tennis calendar, adding he was looking forward to competing in front of the fans in October. Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev also stated that they were excited to compete in Riyadh once again. Alex de Minaur said: "I'm thrilled to make my Six Kings Slam debut this year. I've heard great things about the event, and I'm looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere and competing in Riyadh for the first time." The tournament will be played in a single-elimination format, with the winner of each match advancing to the next round through to the final. A third-place playoff will also be held, while a dedicated fan zone at the venue will offer a range of entertainment experiences and activities throughout the event.
