President Donald Trump said Friday that he and Xi Jinping had made progress for the United States and China, as the Chinese leader wrapped up a state visit to Washington. "I think we've made tremendous strides, we've made great strides, very positive for both countries," Trump told reporters as he and his wife Melania had tea at the White House with Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan. For his part, Chinese President Xi Jinping floated the possibility of two more meetings with Trump, saying: "Looking ahead to the remainder of this year, there will be two more opportunities for us to meet each other -- firstly the APEC meeting in China and then the G20 summit in the United States." "I do welcome you, Mr President and the First Lady, to visit China."
