The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has carried out traffic improvement works on Ranches Street, as part of its continuous efforts to develop road infrastructure and enhance the flow of traffic, in line with the urban and traffic growth in the emirate, and raise the efficiency of the road network and the level of services provided to its users. Improvements have cut travel time by up to 30% during peak hours. These improvements come as part of RTA's ongoing efforts to develop the road network in various areas of Dubai and raise traffic efficiency, through the implementation of fast traffic solutions that keep pace with the urban and urban growth of the Emirate of Dubai, thus providing a more smooth and safe movement for road users, in a way that supports the quality of life and keeps pace with the emirate's goals of easy and sustainable mobility. The works on Ranches Street also included the expansion of the intersection by adding a new traffic lane for vehicles heading from Ranches Street to Street (16A). This has contributed to reducing traffic density and cutting waiting queues by 50%. Installing modern light poles has improved traffic safety and provides better night vision for road users.Ranches Street is one of the vital hubs in Al Quoz, connecting Al Khail and Al Asayel Streets, providing direct access to a number of industrial, commercial, and residential areas. The street also facilitates traffic to and from Al Quoz, Meydan, Business Bay, and Downtown Dubai, enhancing connectivity between the emirate's main road network and raising the efficiency of mobility in one of the most active areas.A number of traffic improvements are underway on Ranches Street, through the construction of a new service road with a continuous pedestrian corridor to serve the adjacent industrial area. This is in addition to the implementation of a new entrance from the beginning of the exit of Al Khail Street towards Ranches Street, which facilitates access to the area and raises safety levels for all road users, and these improvements are expected to be completed by the end of August 2026.
