Syrian authorities improve water supplies for 2m residents of Damascus countryside

Syrian authorities recently launched two water pumping stations to enhance drinking water supplies for approximately two million residents in the Damascus countryside. Supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the project includes the rehabilitation of 28 wells and installation of booster pumps in various areas. Despite these efforts, millions in Syria still lack access to reliable water systems, highlighting ongoing humanitarian needs.
