SR750000 fine and closure of tourist facility in Madinah for violations  

RIYADH — The Ministry of Tourism announced on Friday the closure of a tourist hospitality facility in the Madinah region for operating without a license and repeatedly committing the same violation. The ministry explained that the facility was fined SR750,000, in addition to being ordered to remain completely closed until the violation is rectified. The penalty also stipulates that the decision be published in a local newspaper at the violator’s expense or through any other appropriate means. The ministry emphasized that the penal action is part of its ongoing efforts to ensure the quality of the tourist experience and promote compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
