Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has marked the start of the new academic year with a message to students, teachers and parents, highlighting the role of education in shaping the UAE's future.In a post on social media, Sheikh Mohammed said the start of the academic year marks the beginning of a new educational and scientific journey for more than 1.277 million students across the UAE.He said each new academic year brings renewed energy to society, new aspirations for children and students, and hopes for a better future.Addressing students, Sheikh Mohammed said: "From your classrooms, your lessons and your knowledge, we build our nation's future, so rise to the level of your ambitions."He also praised teachers, saying their efforts help spread knowledge, nurture talent, instil confidence and inspire new ideas among future generations.Addressing parents, Sheikh Mohammed described them as the first partners in the educational journey and the first school in a child's life, stressing their role in helping build future generations.Sheikh Mohammed concluded by wishing students a successful academic year filled with knowledge, learning and achievement, and prayed for continued success and guidance for future generations.
