ALBAWABA - Serenay Sarıkaya could be heading back to the screen with Çağatay Ulusoy, as new reports have linked the actress to Eşref Tek, the upcoming Prime Video project connected to the hit series Eşref Rüya.
Turkish entertainment accounts and websites have begun circulating claims that Sarıkaya may join Ulusoy as a leading actress in the new production. However, there has been no official confirmation from Prime Video or TİMS&B Productions that Sarıkaya has signed onto the project. The reports should therefore be treated as casting rumors for now.
If the casting is eventually confirmed, the project would reunite Sarıkaya and Ulusoy more than a decade after they became one of Turkish television’s most recognizable on-screen pairs.

The two actors previously worked together on Medcezir, which aired from 2013 to 2015.
Ulusoy played Yaman Koper, while Sarıkaya portrayed Mira Beylice, with their characters at the center of the series' main love story. Ay Yapım's official page lists both actors among the main cast.
Their reunion in another major series would naturally attract considerable attention, particularly because Medcezir remains one of the projects most closely associated with both stars. Their professional relationship also generated significant interest at the time, with Turkish media closely following their work together.
Now, more than a decade later, fans are wondering whether the pair could share the screen again in a completely different story.

Eşref Tek was officially announced by TİMS&B Productions for Prime Video just months after Eşref Rüya ended.
The new production is not simply a third season. Instead, it will travel back into Eşref's past and explore the events that shaped him before he became the powerful figure viewers knew in Eşref Rüya.
According to the project's description, the story will focus on Eşref's past, the roots of his devotion to Rüya and the turning points that transformed him into the man he eventually became. The early years of Eşref and Kadir will also be explored, including their entry into the criminal underworld.
The project's promotional message, “Every legend has a beginning,” reflects that approach.
Çağatay Ulusoy is at the center of the new project. The first Eşref Tek poster featured Ulusoy alone, and he also shared the announcement himself, further fueling expectations that he will continue as Eşref. Recent Turkish reports identify him as the lead of the new production.
Görkem Sevindik has also been reported as joining Ulusoy in the new project. Sevindik previously played Kadir in Eşref Rüya, and his involvement fits with the new story's focus on Eşref and Kadir's earlier years.
At the same time, Demet Özdemir's involvement has not been confirmed. Her absence from the first promotional poster has already led to questions about whether the new project will feature any of the original cast members.

Prime Video has confirmed the project, but an exact release date has not yet been announced. The production has been described as coming soon to the platform.
For now, the biggest unanswered question is whether Serenay Sarıkaya will actually join the cast.
