RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the date of the 96th Saudi National Day holiday for the private and non-profit sectors. In a statement on its official X account, the ministry stated that Wednesday, Rabi al-Thani 12, 1448 AH, corresponding to September 23, 2026, will be an official holiday for employees in the private and non-profit sectors. The ministry clarified that the decision is based on Article 24 of the Executive Regulations of the Labor Law, emphasizing that all employers must adhere to the mechanism stipulated in the second paragraph of the article. Saudi Arabia celebrates its National Day on September 23 each year, commemorating the unification of Saudi Arabia by its founder King Abdulaziz in 1932.
