Saudi Team Falcons crowned Rocket League champions at Esports World Cup 2026

PARIS — Saudi Team Falcons were crowned Rocket League champions at the Esports World Cup 2026 after a dominant 4-0 victory over Spacestation Gaming in the Grand Final. After three years of competing in the tournament, the Saudi team — led by Sami Hajji “Dralii” and twin brothers Yazid Bakhshwin “Kiileerrz” and Saleh Bakhshwin “Rw9” — secured its first Rocket League title, with Kiileerrz and Rw9 making history as the first Saudi players to lift an Esports World Cup trophy. The Rocket League title earned Team Falcons $400,000 and 1,000 Club Championship points, putting the team at the top of the standings with 4,400 points, 300 ahead of second-place AG.AL, which has 4,100 points. With the victory, Dralii also became the first player to win three titles in Esports World Cup history, having claimed his three championships with three different rosters. Rw9 was also named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player following a standout and consistent performance throughout the competition. He averaged 0.78 goals, 0.83 assists and 1.91 saves per game. Team Falcons had trailed traditional rival Twisted Minds 1-2 in the quarterfinals and were down 2-5 in the fourth game before mounting a comeback to force overtime. They went on to win the game before securing two more victories to take the series. Despite failing to qualify for the Paris Major earlier in the year, Team Falcons continued training and carried their momentum from the quarterfinal comeback into the semifinals, where they swept defending champion Karmine Corp 4-0 to book their place in the Grand Final. With Team Vitality and Natus Vincere also within striking distance of the leaders, the Club Championship is set to be decided during the final competitions of the seventh and last week of the Esports World Cup 2026.
