Saudi, Omani FMs discuss Strait of Hormuz security, regional stability

RIYADH — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from his Omani counterpart, during which the two ministers discussed bilateral ties, regional developments, and maritime security. During the Prince's call with Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the ministers reviewed relations between the two countries and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and stressed the importance of enhancing coordination, consultation, and joint diplomatic efforts to preserve security and stability in the region, as well as ensuring the safety and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
