RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman held a phone call on Monday with Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Korea Kang Shin-chul. During the call, Prince Khalid congratulated Shin-chul on his appointment as minister of defense. The ministers discussed prospects for defense cooperation between the two friendly nations, as well as regional developments. They emphasized the importance of supporting efforts aimed at achieving peace in the region and the world. The ministers condemned the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia.
