Saudi Foreign Minister Holds Phone Talks with Pakistani, Venezuelan Counterparts

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held separate phone calls on Thursday with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Venezuela's Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto, the Saudi Press Agency said. During his call with Dar, the two ministers reviewed developments in the negotiations between the United States and Iran, particularly the latest round of talks held in Doha, Qatar. They expressed satisfaction with the positive progress achieved and voiced hope that the negotiations would lead to a peaceful and comprehensive solution to the conflict in the region. In his conversation with Gil Pinto, Prince Faisal conveyed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the government and people of Venezuela over the victims of the two earthquakes that struck the country. He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's solidarity with Venezuela and its people during this difficult time, expressed the Kingdom's readiness to provide the necessary support and assistance to those affected, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
