Saudi Arabia’s first homegrown automotive brand Ceer will unveil its first flagship electric sedan and SUV on Sept. 21, marking a key step in the Kingdom’s drive to build a domestic EV industry under Vision 2030. The PIF-Foxconn joint venture has grown its workforce to 2,300 and established partnerships with major global and local companies as it targets 45 percent local content by 2034. CEER is expected to contribute around SR30 billion ($8 billion) to GDP and create about 30,000 direct and indirect jobs.
