Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz extended on Monday an invitation to United Arab Emirates Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed’s visit reflects the deep-rooted, historic relations between the two countries, both at the leadership and popular levels, built upon ties of blood, brotherhood, and shared geography. The wisdom of the leadership in both countries is demonstrated by their capable and responsible management of strategic relations, preserving stability and mutual interests while strengthening a unified Gulf stance against regional and international challenges. During a press conference in January, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah stressed that relations between the two countries are "of paramount importance for regional stability," describing the UAE as "an important partner within the Gulf Cooperation Council."
