The Culinary Arts Commission is participating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at the Algiers International Book Fair 2026 with a collection of Saudi publications on local culinary arts, which form part of Saudi Arabia’s cultural identity. The publications are led by "Sufra: Saudi Feast," which documents culinary traditions across Saudi Arabia’s 13 regions. It received two Gourmand Awards in 2024: Best Hospitality Book and Best Arab Cuisine Cookbook, SPA reported. The collection also includes "Buraidah," which explores the culinary and cultural heritage of Qassim Region and its traditional dishes, many of which are associated with the region’s agricultural environment and traditional markets.
