Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Jeddah on Friday, focusing on regional and international developments, including the latest situation in the Middle East and the Ukraine crisis. During the meeting, the two leaders also reviewed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, areas of joint cooperation, and opportunities to further strengthen ties. Zelenskyy described the meeting as “highly productive,” saying in a post on X that Ukraine is working to finalize an agreement with Saudi Arabia covering security, energy, and food cooperation. The meeting was attended on the Saudi side by Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban. Representing Ukraine were Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Andrii Hnatov.
