RIYADH — Saudi Civil Defense announced early Saturday that the danger had passed in Riyadh and Al-Kharj after issuing an early warning over a potential threat.The General Directorate of Civil Defense urged citizens and residents to continue following official safety instructions and guidelines.Earlier, Civil Defense activated an alert through the National Early Warning Platform in Riyadh and Al-Kharj, warning of a potential threat and calling on the public to follow official instructions.During the warning, residents were advised to stay away from open areas and glass windows and avoid standing on balconies or rooftops.People outside buildings were instructed to enter the nearest building or take shelter behind a solid barrier, while avoiding gatherings, filming and potentially dangerous locations until the all-clear was issued.
