RIYADH: The National Center for Palms and Dates has organized awareness events in shopping malls across the Kingdom to encourage the use of dates in a variety of foods and beverages, aiming to increase their economic value and contribution to the national economy. The events have attracted large numbers of visitors and tourists, who have sampled innovative date-based dishes and drinks. Exhibitors have showcased recipes featuring dates in foods such as kabsa, jareesh, pasta, and a range of baked goods both local and international.
