Saudi Arabia strongly condemns attacks targeting Kurdistan Region PM’s office

RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq that targeted the office of the region’s Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry described the attack as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Iraq. The Kingdom affirmed its complete rejection of all hostile acts targeting prominent and political figures, as well as any actions that threaten the security, institutions and stability of the Iraqi state. Saudi Arabia also reiterated its firm rejection of all forms of interference in the internal affairs of states, violations of their sovereignty, and breaches of the principles of good neighborliness and international law.
