RIYADH — More than 84,000 Toyota Camry vehicles have been recalled by the Ministry of Commerce due to a defect that may prevent vital information from being displayed and disable warning lights and audible alerts. The defect in the instrument panel system may disable turn signals, warning lights and audible alerts related to the ignition switch and seat belts, increasing the risk of an accident. The recall affects 84,639 Toyota Camry vehicles from the 2025–2026 model years. The Ministry urged owners to verify whether their vehicles are included in the recall by checking their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) through Recalls.sa. Customers were also urged to contact Abdul Latif Jameel Company at 8004400055 to have the necessary software programming carried out free of charge.
