RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has recalled 1,262 RAM vehicles over a defect in the trailer control module that could cause the trailer’s brakes and lights to malfunction, increasing the risk of an accident. The recall covers RAM 1500, RAM 2500 and RAM 5500 vehicles from model years 2025 to 2026. According to the ministry, a defect in the trailer control module could cause the trailer’s turn signals and brake lights to malfunction and its braking system to become inoperative while being towed. Owners of affected vehicles are advised to check whether their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is included in the recall through Recalls.sa.
