RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the fatal fire at a children’s hospital in Islamabad, which resulted in the deaths of at least 14 newborns. In a statement issued by the Ministry, Saudi Arabia extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan, following the tragic fire at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital in the capital, Islamabad. The Kingdom also expressed its solidarity with the victims’ families and its support for the government and people of Pakistan following the incident, wishing security and safety for Pakistan and its people.
