Dubai: Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed a package of traffic improvement projects at six locations in school zones across the emirate during the summer break.According to RTA, the upgrades are designed to serve more than 10 schools and improve traffic flow, accessibility and safety for students, parents, staff and other road users. The authority said the improvements form part of its ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity between residential, educational and development areas, while providing safer and more convenient travel options for school communities.RTA added that the projects aim to improve mobility around schools and contribute to a better quality of life for residents and visitors across Dubai. The traffic enhancement works were completed ahead of the start of the new academic year as part of the authority's continuing programme to develop the emirate's road and transport infrastructure.
