Report reveals scale of damage to US bases in Gulf after Iranian strikes

A report by NBC News says Iranian strikes caused billions of dollars in damage to US military assets and bases across the Gulf region. Citing informed sources, the network said runways, advanced radar systems, dozens of aircraft, warehouses, command centres, hangars and satellite communications infrastructure were hit in attacks spanning several countries in the Middle East. The sources said repair costs could reach 5 billion dollars, excluding the cost of fixing radar systems, weapons, aircraft and other equipment that were damaged or destroyed beyond repair.
