Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed the importance of ensuring comprehensive preparations for the launch of projects under the second phase of the presidential ‘Decent Life’ (Hayah Karima) initiative. It aimed to develop Egyptian rural villages and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. Madbouli made the remarks during a meeting on Sunday at the government headquarters in New Alamein City to review preparations for implementing the initiative’s second phase. The prime minister highlighted the importance of drawing on lessons learned from the first phase of the initiative to ensure the swift completion and operation of new projects according to their approved timelines. He said the projects are designed to achieve the initiative’s objectives of upgrading infrastructure and improving the efficiency and quality of public services across various sectors. Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed el-Homsani said the meeting reviewed the components of the second phase, along with proposed implementation schedules for the planned development and service projects aimed at improving living standards in rural communities. The prime minister also reviewed progress on first-phase projects, including completed projects and those that have been handed over and entered service across several development and service sectors.
