Passports directorate takes 22,894 decisions to penalize residency violators in a month

RIYADH — The General Directorate of Passports has issued 22,894 administrative decisions during the month of Rabi Al-Awwal 1448 AH to penalize citizens and expatriates for violating residency, labor, and border security regulations. The decisions include imposing penalties ranging from imprisonment and fines to deportation. The directorate urged all citizens, expatriates, business owners, and individuals not to transport, employ, or shelter violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations, conceal them, or provide them with any means of assistance in finding employment, housing, or transportation. The directorate called for cooperation and reporting violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, and reporters will not be held liable.
