Dubai: Parkin has signed a partnership agreement with uPay to operate a service for topping up Parkin's digital wallet with cash via uPay's network of self-service payment devices spread throughout the country.Under the partnership, a new payment channel will be introduced that will facilitate the experience for Parkin customers, allowing them to easily top up their digital wallets with cash via uPay devices. They will also have the option to pay using credit cards.This initiative aims to expand access to services and provide greater flexibility for customers who prefer or rely on cash transactions in their daily dealings.uPay operates a vast network of more than 1,700 self-service payment terminals distributed throughout the UAE, including more than 1,350 in Dubai, more than 150 in Abu Dhabi, more than 150 in Sharjah, and more than 50 in Ajman.Through this technical and operational integration, Parkin has effectively expanded its coverage for payment services, enabling it to reach customers through a wide and easy-to-use physical network 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.This partnership reflects Parkin's commitment to developing digital solutions that enhance the customer experience and expand payment options. It also contributes to financial inclusion by enabling access to parking services beyond just digital banking.The self-service kiosk top-up model offers a highly efficient and cost-effective mechanism for collecting cash payments, reducing reliance on more expensive options and enhancing operational efficiency and the overall customer experience.Commenting on this move, Eng.
