Pakistan Condemns Houthi Militia Threats Against Saudi Arabia

Pakistan on Wednesday condemned in the strongest terms the threats issued by the Houthi terrorist militia against Saudi Arabia and commercial vessels in the Red Sea, affirming that these actions threaten regional security and stability, undermine freedom of navigation, and endanger global trade. In a statement, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the threats targeting commercial vessels or trade with the Kingdom are unacceptable and constitute a violation of international law and the maritime order, SPA reported. The ministry expressed deep concern over reports of threats targeting vessels engaged in legitimate commercial activities with the Kingdom, calling for respect for international law and the protection of the safety and security of international maritime navigation.
