RIYADH — The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education announced the conclusion of the registration phase for the first edition of the National Gifted Olympiad.The olympiad is Saudi Arabia's largest national science competition for intermediate and high school students and features progressive, integrated stages aimed at identifying and developing national talent and preparing students to compete locally and internationally, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Mawhiba said 444,134 students from 10,932 schools across the Kingdom registered for the olympiad, including 100,095 in the Scientific Track (NSMO) and 344,039 in the Research Track (Ibdaa), reflecting broad participation and the olympiad's prominent position among national science competitions for middle and high school students. Following the conclusion of the registration phase, students will advance to the qualification stages of the National Gifted Olympiad in the NSMO and Ibdaa tracks. These stages aim to assess students' abilities, develop their skills, and prepare them for the advanced stages of the competition, culminating in central assessments and exhibitions, followed by the olympiad finals.
