One dead in Iranian attack on Kuwait International Airport
Dubai: The latest Iranian attack on Kuwait International Airport this morning has resulted in the death of one person and several injuries.A statement issued by Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, June 3, strongly condemned the blatant and ongoing Iranian attacks using ballistic missiles and drones, the latest of which occurred this morning."These attacks once again targeted civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to others, as well as damage to vital installations, including diplomatic missions," the statement said."The Ministry affirms the State of Kuwait’s categorical rejection of Iran’s blatant acts of aggression, which escalate tensions, undermine the security and stability of the region, and constitute a flagrant violation of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026). The Ministry emphasizes that the security, sovereignty, and safety of the State of Kuwait, its citizens, and residents are a red line that cannot be crossed."It affirms that the repetition of these attacks represents a systematic and aggressive approach, which the State of Kuwait will neither accept nor tolerate. The Ministry affirms that the State of Kuwait reserves its full and inherent right to take appropriate measures to respond to these blatant and repeated Iranian attacks, in accordance with international law."
